Seva, or soulful giving, generates abundance and our style of giving often defines who we attract. I have learnt the act of soulful giving from my amazing teachers, many of whom follow the bhakti lineage. Bhakti is a practice of humility, learning to become humble, egoless. When you become humble, the negative expressions of the heart disappear and the positive expressions manifest. Envy, greed and jealousy disappear; love, compassion, sympathy and affection replace them.
Soulful giving is a way of nurturing yourself , enlarging your capacity to be more caring towards others. Seva means to give unconditionally to others - giving for the joy of it without any expectation of anything in return. It’s a restorative way of sharing from your heart, a transfer of energy from one person to another with an outcome that is only positive and uplifting to all those involved.
My act of seva is to teach yoga and meditation - to share this beautiful practice that has transformed my life in the hope I can help to inspire others - and I have never accepted any form of payment for my teaching of yoga or meditation. I teach as seva from the pure love and kindness that I feel from my heart, an immeasurable energy that gives my soul such a glow of positive radiance. I am forever grateful to all my inspirational teachers who have guided me with an abundance of kindness and wisdom, and I cannot even begin to quantify the immense joy and gratitude sharing this practice gives me.
Some Beginners Tips On How To Practice Soulful Giving
Give spontaneous gifts for no reason other than you simply want to
Give a gift which matches and resonates with the recipients needs, not just the givers wants
Add lots of loving vibes to your gift, hold it close and give loving energy from your heart
Create positive circles of energy with others by showing praise, appreciation and gratitude for all your friendships
With practice you will naturally become a yogi - you don’t need to become enlightened soul or become a siddha, but a yogi who has not only transformed the quality of your own life, but also that of all those around you!
Haribol! Give abundantly yogi’s and live joyfully!

- Walk With Me…
Cornelia Konrad’s is a travelling artist from Germany. With three passions: art, philosophy and traveling, life has thankfully offered her a way to combine them all.
Creating mind-bending site-specific installations in public spaces, sculpture parks and private gardens around the world, Cornelia’s work is frequently punctuated by the illusion of weightlessness.
Stacked objects like logs, fences, and doorways appear to be suspended in mid-air, reinforcing their temporary nature as if the installation is beginning to dissolve before your very eyes.
One of the sculptures in her enchanting exhibition in the middle of a forest created a series of gravity-defying portals, leading visitors through a suspended bark silhouette doorway (photo above).
Cornelia says, “I understand the site not as a background, but as a texture. The goal is that my work becomes a part of this texture– in the end, it is unclear if it has always been there or if it will change or disappear in the next second.”
